WINNAARS STIPENDIUM SCHIEDAMS WATER 2021
De fotografen Çigdem Yüksel, Desiré van den Berg en Lana
Mesić hebben het stipendium Schiedams Water 2021 gewonnen. Deze prijs is in
2020 in het leven geroepen door het Cultureel Forum Schiedam, met de opdracht
de sociale transitie van de stad in beeld te brengen.
De drie jonge veelbelovende fotografen
hebben de uitdaging aangenomen om naar eigen inzicht een fotografisch verhaal
te maken over de sociale veranderingen in de stad Schiedam. Dit staat voor
een groter geheel en gaat over culturen, beeldvorming, bewustwording,
trots en kracht. Wat is zichtbaar van deze verandering en van de diverse
gelaagdheid in onze samenleving?
Aan de geselecteerde fotografen is gevraagd om binnen dit thema een persoonlijk beeld te geven over de richting waar Schiedam, haar bewoners en organisaties heen gaan.
